On February 17-18, 2025, the Razi Institute will hold an online seminar titled “Venomous Animals & Antivenoms: Bridging Science, Innovation, and Global Health.” This event aims to be a leading forum for advancing scientific knowledge and fostering collaboration in the study of venomous animals and the development of antivenoms. The ultimate objective of this event is to reduce the global incidence of fatalities and casualties resulting from venomous animal bites and stings.
On Tuesday, November 26, 2024, the Razi Institute, in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture-Jahad and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, hosted an online meeting with economic counselors from Iranian embassies across Central Asia, including Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, and Armenia.
On Wednesday, November 20, a groundbreaking product from the Shiraz branch of the Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute was unveiled during a ceremony attended by Mr. Hossein-Ali Amiri Governor of Fars, Dr. Gholamreza Gol Mohammadi the Deputy Minister of Agricultural Jahad & the President of the Agricultural Research, Education, and Extension Organization, Dr. Ali Es-haghi, Director General of Razi Institute, Board of Directors of Razi Institute, and other regional officials. For the first time in the world, researchers at the Razi Vaccine Institute's Shiraz branch have successfully developed a novel vaccine for bovine theileriosis after a decade of research. Dr. Ali Es-haghi hailed this achievement as a significant milestone, praising the innovation, dedication, and perseverance of the Research & development team.
On Monday, November 18, 2024, Dr. Gholamreza Gol Mohammadi, the Deputy Minister and President of the Agricultural Research, Education, and Extension Organization (AREEO), visited the Razi Vaccine & Serum Research Institute. During his visit, Dr. Gol Mohammadi underscored the urgent necessity of establishing an international policy council aimed at addressing the diverse challenges confronting the international offices operating under the organization’s supervision.
The meeting of international offices under the Agricultural Research, Education, and Extension Organization (AREEO) was held on Monday 18 November 2024 in the presence of Deputy Minister of Agriculture Jahad and Director General of Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute, in Karaj.
On November 5, 2024, Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute proudly unveiled three new vaccines for livestock and poultry during a special event. On Wednesday, October 23, Razi Institute participated in the 23rd Annual Consultation between the Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI) and key stakeholders, including polio vaccine manufacturers, National Authorities for Containment (NACs), and National Regulatory Authorities (NRAs) on 23 October 2024. In a pivotal move towards enhancing international collaboration in vaccine production, the Razi Institute has signed a marketing and export memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the private sector in Tanzania. The agreement was witnessed by Iran's Minister of Agriculture-Jahad, Gholamreza Nouri Ghezeljeh, and Tanzania's Minister of Foreign Affairs, January Yusuf Makamba, on October 19 in Dar es Salaam.

Dr. Rainak Ghaderi, head of the Academic Relations and International Affairs Office at Razi Institute, has announced the launch of seven specialized training workshops focused on vaccine production, supported by the World Health Organization (WHO). During the inaugural webinar held in Kaveh Hall, Ghaderi highlighted that, following previous training workshops organized by the WHO country office, the Academic Relations and International Affairs Office at Razi Institute successfully secured the capacity to conduct these workshops to enhance vaccine production capabilities.
